Join us at The Chapel above The Angel Microbrewery on 29th September 2023 from 7pm, for a new monthly event showcasing part-time creatives. 
Big Nature member Cae Capurro will be hosting a poetry hour followed by a club night headlined by the brilliant Mush Love
Alongside will be an art exhibition curated by Big Nature members, and a pop up shop selling work from the featured creatives. 
We are also excited to announce Anarchy Studios will be providing live visuals and a DJ set, with their clothing line available to purchase from the pop up shop.

Poet Profile: Cara Thompson
Cara Thompson is an award winning poet, performer and artivist from Nottingham, England. As the 2021 winner of UNESCO’s international poetry competition ‘Slamovision’, Cara’s writing celebrated the richness of her Caribbean heritage while inviting audiences to unpack weighty such as social activism and racial trauma. 
Artist Profile: Unattainable Blonde (Gem)
Gem is a Brighton based artist who pairs hyperfemme aesthetics with her own brand of silly-slaggy-leftist humour. She is currently focused on making confessional pieces about her neurodivergence.

Jay Sandhu is an international-selling author, comedian, poet and rapper.
Punchy, informative, and witty, his poetry and comedy focus on race and culture. He is also one of the creative directors for The Nottingham Poetry Festival  and runs Nott Another events and projects.
Alongside working on projects with Nottingham Uni, Lakeside Arts, New Art Exchange and National Justice museum, he manages to fit in teaching maths part-time at secondary.  ​​​​​​​
